Eating well doesn't have to be all about spending large sums of money. It really all begins with using the best ingredients. Eating as close to the base as possible should always be the original goal. But let's face it: a raw egg is gross :-( But, take that egg, cook it with butter (not that plastic stuff they call margarine) and a little raw salt and you have delicious start to your day!
The closer you can get to the farm for your food, the better those products are going to taste. We don't look for vegetable varieties that travel well. We look for ones that taste AMAZING and grow well in our area and climate.
